This incredible journey takes us from the cultural wonders of Cusco, to the ancient ruins and dramatic scenery of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the ‘lost’ Incan city of Machu Picchu. The stunning seven day trek along the Salcantay trail is less trodden than the busier Inca Trail and is highly regarded by past trekkers. Machu Picchu is a startling legacy of the sophisticated Inca Empire that flourished in the 15th century. Travelling across the altiplano (high plateau) via Lake Titicaca, we continue into Bolivia and begin our second trek: a four‑day camping journey into the spectacular Condoriri region, finishing up in the intriguing high city of La Paz.
Doors open at 6:30 pm and there will be light refreshments in the corridor outside the auditorium. (Please, no food or drinks in the auditorium.) At 7:00 pm, we will assemble in the Auditorium for announcements and the presentation.
Please RSVP (register) to help us anticipate turnout.
