Hoosier Outdoor Experience June 11, 2017
Volunteer Opportunity
The Hoosier Outdoor Experience is an annual event staged by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) at Ft. Harrison State Park. The event provides unique opportunities for event goers to “experience” outdoor recreation and fun first hand. Activity Providers such as CIWC will be showcasing their club or organization for the enjoyment and enlightenment of all.
CIWC will have displays, live presentations and an information booth.
You can help and support the club by volunteering for a 2-hour shift on either Saturday or Sunday. Volunteers will staff the booth help explain our displays and also help as needed with presentations. Volunteers will need to arrive 15 minutes before their shift. Please try to register by May 15th or sooner.
Shift Times: 10:00 AM, 12 Noon, 02:00 PM and 04:00 PM
Additional information will be emailed to volunteers ahead of the event. This is a good way to support our club and help grow our membership.
You can register for a shift by clicking on Register (for the day you want) and then selecting the “registration level” for the shift of your choice. We need two people per shift. We guarantee it will be a fun and rewarding experience. Volunteers will be furnished either a box lunch or a 50% off coupon at a food tent.
